Bill, can you verify that Taylor Swift sold over 1 million digital tracks in Christmas Week 2012? Because Billboard never officially announced it although when adding Nelson Soundscan numbers for her songs, the result is over a million.

He's already answered non-charts-related questions. It's not like it's his duty to answer our charts related questions. He'll answer whatever he pleases to answer.

"Is pop dying down"? Look at the charts and decide for yourself. Billboard is maths, not a horoscope.

Radio is highly manipulated by DJs, Clear Channel stations, behind the curtain deals etc, and does not always represent the public's genuine interest in songs which are overplayed there.

All huge radio hits with relatively poor sales, but the airplay alone is enough to carry them high on the Hot 100.

Are there any plans to lower down Radio influence to previous numbers of around 2010/2011. I think it was more fair back then.

But in the general selection process, how do you usually nominate a possible WoY? And she was Billboard's Woman of the Year which supposedly is an annual recognition for a female who made exemplary achievement in the course of 12 months. Why does the cover not say that?
