to Gabor: I'm not a hater of Nelly, I hate her stans on this thread so I post things to get a reaction. No the top two pop stars are Madonna + Britney, Fergie is right behind. None of those bitches VerticalRetard mentioned, except Madonna, re-invented nothing. Christina went back 3000 years in her flop album, Kylie is still the same, and Beyonce is not even really pop.

And yes Nelly is a sellout. Just like charlectio-05 just said.

considering Fergie first came out with "rap talking" and "hip-hop" style in 2003 with the BEP, which was before Nelly sold out and copied her.

Gwen made a definite impact, Amy Lee isn't even pop, Avril yeah she is still in the young stage but she is still more unique. Britney on the other hand made and still is making a huge impact. She is pretty much re-inventing herself like Madonna, but Madonna is the queen, Britney is the princess. She nor Gwen, Avril, + Fergie, had to work with Timbaland to have a hit.

if you have a bit of intelligence you can easily spot that Nelly brought real pop back onto the top of charts
before Loose RNB and HipHop songs were in all over the world -> I know your reaction to this - Promiscuous is a hiphop song(kinda) - but it's not - it's POP
