I'm kinda surprised at how well Roar is doing in Europe.
Katy peaked in Europe (excluding the UK) with OOTB. It would be nice for her to gain some of that back.

1. Those were better songs. 2. Those were probably better videos than what Applause will be and that both videos also had a lot of media hype around them [something I don't really see the Applause video having] AND she was coming off 4 successful singles back-to-back, which sparked more immediate interest in her work.

She's 5 years into her career. That's not early anymore.

And the BTW era was a success; not a success as big as her debut, but still a very large success.
