Deja Vu got MASSIVE frontloaded hype and airplay and everything. It didn't debut high for whatever reason, but it skyrocketed to #4 in it's 2nd week, and then it started dropping. Ring the Alarm was an Urban single, which sort of crossed over, but ended up peaking at #11. Then she snatched with Irreplaceable after it slowly built
I legit couldn't figure 70% out the lyrics of Applause until I saw the lyrics video. When she spells A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E I thought that was just some random noise she made. The lyrics itself is not relatable, and double trouble when people can't even grasp the words. Must be DJWS's fault.
I'd rather have Gags there, at least I bopped to Applause in the bathroom an hour ago.
