Yes, but I don't see why people keep using this as some sort of accolade. Gaga was #1 in twice as many the other day, it works both ways.
Anyways, that crazy ass bitch on Twitter.
Katy was #1 in more countries than Gaga before Applause was released. Then Gaga got her #1s in some places (while Katy kept some) and now Katy is getting them back.
Remember when GaGa tried Rihanna and Britney when they were trying to get #1 by rush releasing JudASS, she failed. She didn't learn her lesson and now Katy is making sure she never forgets.

So the Dr. Luke Sony-exclusive thing is true! I wonder why Katy is the only non-Sony artist to get to use him.

Thank you @SonyMusicGlobal for allowing me to do #ROAR !! It would not have happened if it wasn't for Doug Morris. #SONYMUSIC BEST!!!
Welp, Doug Morris is the CEO of entire Sony Music Group. I can't believe he had to go that high up to get permission to work with Katy.
Also on Dr. Luke, I know a lot of us aren't exactly super happy about him working with Katy on Prism, but he produced the new Jessie J single and it's amazing and definitely a departure in sound from his other work. I have confidence Prism won't be as generic as TD.
