I still think that era is up her sleeves (yes, I think she'll survive the ARTPOP era well-enough to put out more albums )
A classic rock album would have slayed right now. Any genre is capable of slaying right now and people always say rock is dead and I think Gaga could have brought it back with this album.
We should have gotten a single like "Speechless" as the lead with a stripped down look. Ballads are in right now and it would have given her much more credibility and would have gotten the GP back on her side.
It's when people post stuff like this that I just don't believe Nicole when she says that Gaga doesn't have it in her.
She DOES. It's THERE. She just needs to kick her ass into gear, have a creative director who knows what works and what doesn't, and producers that don't muffle her vocals.
The Belting in "Roar" will be glorious live, I can't wait!
Ive been thinking about this since the day I heard the song in full, I don't think she can deliver it live without cracking or screeching, much like Rihanna and WHYB.
Beyoncé would DEMOLISH Roar live, as would Jordin Sparks or P!nk.
Ooh I hope P!nk covers Roar, her belting is my fave.

2013 was the year Gaga's career ended.
