A "hush release" like single in September and album in October would guarantee the era wouldn't die two weeks after the single is out - Unless you want another FF? I mean, we all know Britney is not gonna go out of her way to promote the single, so why not capitalize on the album promo earlier and then count on the holiday sales boost to go Platinum by the end of the year?
