I don't want Roar to lose it's spot at #1. All that slaying in all those countries may be gone by morning She could've waited until next week to release

Imagine if she manages to hold GaGa off, we'd have no worries.

It's mostly just her first sales, Roar's gonna rebound in the long run imo and the other song is most likely gonna fizzle out quickly.

on another note: i'm still annoyed how applause suddenly "leaked" and now it's all ready and available on itunes the same day as Roar, not that i'm surprised but it's extremely shady and unprofessional but then again it's a competition... they're gonna do no matter what it takes to come on top.

Exactly. It shouldn't, but it pisses me off the more I think about it. Everything about the past few weeks seems a bit too calculated to be purely coincidental.

Just heard Roar, it sounds like her other songs, but that's not exactly a bad thing. It's still catchy as hell and one of my fave singles of hers Also, it's way better than Applause

She came out of the gold semi. Announced she would be performing at the VMAs, lyric video, promo for the single... I don't know that there was one specific surprise she had in mind when she tweeted that. She was just letting them know where to go.
