I wouldn't say it is meaningless. It offers some insight on the presence of the star. Forbes balances everything, which is why it is a better indicator or success than Billboard. Obviously if no one is buying Gaga her flop sing then no one is buying Gaga her flop sing.
The fact is that ATRL likes to pretend as though Gaga was not selling
anything during the BTW era, which is not true. We have yet to see Rihanna carry on by name alone the way Gaga did despite not having multiple hits or multiple appearances.
