I really think that Blurred Lines might block Roar from going #1
I mean, it is still selling 300K+ weekly, has that HUGE lead on streaming (YouTube + Spotify) and not mention its MONSTROUS radio support and lead atm

EDIT: And it was just performed at America's Got Talent the other night and let's not even forget about the possiblity of it being performed too at the VMA's
It will not get blocked. People here think a song goes #1 overnight. It will take WEEKS before the song hits #1 and that's why Billboard changed the rules so songs wouldn't have instant #1s. Longevity and growth will be key. A song shouldn't be able to go to the top of the charts based off of die hard fans but instead by mass feelings of the public. Radio is instrumental in this and it takes weeks to a month to build that audience.
