I can't decide which will be messier: if Katy blocks Gaga or Gaga blocks Katy. If Gaga gets blocked there will be a mass exodus amongst the monsters, but if Katy, the queen of #1s, doesn't get a #1 because of Gags the Monsters will never let it go
At least Gaga's stats aren't as bad as Xtine's. Once you take away the collabos, all you get is this:

Oh dear, how unfortunate.
I wonder, how do her stats hold up w/ her former "The Voice" co-stars? Surely they have better stats, being in front of 15m people p/w the last few months?

Definitely if Katy blocks Gaga. The fumes, meltdowns and deaths. There's a big target on Gaga's back since she announced ARTPOP.
"How You Remind Me" was named the #1 most played song on U.S. radio of the 2000s decade by Nielsen Soundscan, being spun over 1.2 million times on U.S. airwaves since its release in 2001 to the end of 2009.
Airplay list, poor girls and their weak **** not translating into album sales.
How embarrassing to have one of the biggest radio hits even in the US and the album couldnt even sell 2 million copies.
Ah, I guess Nickelback doesn't surprise me. On my countdown of most-played radio artists since whenever, they were at #3 after Rihanna and Taylor. I figured I Gotta Feeling and Yeah! would miss out because of not enough recurrent spins. Other formats seem to be a lot friendlier to that than pop, though Yeah! seems to be the third most-played recurrent pop song after Lose Yourself and Diddy's B.I.G. tribute song.

But - being completely honest - I think Gaga blocking Katy would be more shocking. Especially in the US. Radio eats up her singles like candy, most people are expecting for Roar to beat Applause, but for ARTPOP to beat Prism.
Wait, if "How You Remind Me" only has ~1.2 million spins, there's absolutely no way anyone is going to make the Top 200 when they update it. I think the #200 song has over 3 million spins.
