I think a lot of us are underestimating Jay-Z because he isn't a "pop girl." He could easily see another ESOM-sized hit (or smaller) if his numbers keep up. Already #2 on Spotify and selling consistently without any form of promo other than radio.
Wake Me Up is overrated as ****, especially here in the UK. Avicci has much better songs but this (reasonably good) mess is obliterating everything. I do get the attraction to it though, everyone I hear talking about (in real life, radio, music channels etc) it mentions how it "mashes up country and dance".
Compared to his other singles, the song is mediocre but at least he's enjoying some success.
that pretty much only affects MAJOR album releases, like 20/20 experience in terms of sales. HIs complete my album drop will be negligible

Arctic Monkeys' Do I Wanna Know? is performing amazingly in the UK. Still top 20 and increasing! They're past few singles (well, every single since their 2nd album) has spent a maximum of 3 weeks in the top 40 .
