Just compare both.
The public is losing interest, you can't deny that.

Actually it is quite easy to deny. Britney still still generates attention in the public but right now we just see her running her errands and daily things. It's hard to say that public would maintain strong interest after 15 years in the game but I don't think they are losing interest

She failed to deliver more than one hit.
Britney has a foundation that doesn't just base itself off of one song. You tried though. Beyonce fans always coming for Britney.
It's like saying the public is losing interest for Madonna yet she breaks records touring.
It's almost as dumb as saying Pink or Macklemore are more relevant than Madonna because they're latest albums are platinum. For someone that is a beyonce stan and has Rihanna outselling their fave worldwide I would think you'd understand that the industry and power builds on a body of work.
When Britney fails to go top 40 on pop radio, fails to get albums certified, and can no longer tour then I will be worried.
I mean even her Smurf song garnered 10M views and alot of streams in one week. I don't think that constitutes as losing interest.
however, ooh la la, in my opinion, is not a good song so you could only do so much. Glad it's not her first single and for a kid movie

And all for her going to the gym, grocery store and running errands.
This thread is quite ridiculous only because we know charts.
Ooh la la was a flop.
However, it's not a first single, it is a smurf soundtrack song (so I expect sales to boost after this week briefly).
After the radio deal the first week it stuck in their to reach #21 on pop radio even for the song, in my opinion is not good.
The video garnered 10M views in the first week and a lot of streaming...there's interest.
Scream and shout was will i am's biggest hit everywhere except UK where he is a bigger draw than Britney. He's admitted this and anyone with a brain can see the song is successful because of Britney. Kesha, Carly Rae, Nicole schwer...couldn't do what Britney did.

Basically, I think this next era musically will be make or break.
That's why I think she is more involved and they are allowing her to do what she wants to do.
See, if she doesn't evolve in a huge leap and not baby steps than the public WILL officially lose interest in her. So this era will determine that for sure. For now, it's clear they haven't.
Homegirl is still ranked top 10 on twitter when people like Ellen, Kim kardashian, shakira and a few others were there a year ago and their actual decline in interest shows. I mean, Britney is about to pass Rihanna for heaven's sake. I never saw that coming.

Britney and "interest" cannot stay in the same sentence anymore

the irony in that you remain perched in her threads for someone that you believe the public is disinterested in.
the fact that this thread is created for Britney and not other artists struggling to get certified, to tour, to get a #1 album, to garner huge streamining and youtube views and maintain relevancy is a huge kii.
