The Conjuring was a bit disappointing at first but the second half really made up for it. I wish they went more in detail about the story of the ghosts in the house.

I watched Dead Silence tonight and it wasn't as good as I remembered it it felt rather short really.

Texas 3D was truly awful. They've should done more like the remake and the beginning.

Same thing happened with me: definitely not as good as I thought. I do think it's still one of the better films during that horror drought thought.

I watched "The Possesion" from 2012 yesterday.
Pretty good movie. I wish it had more scares but the scene with when the guy's teeth fell out made me go

The pacing was so odd. Nothing every really built up, it was just constant death scenes but they all felt kinda rushed. Ryan Kwanten is delicious though

It's really good. Personally it didn't live up to the hype.

Make sure you either go to a really late showing or on a week night because screaming teen girls will ruin it

I absolutely loved The Conjuring. I agree, it didn't really go there like I wanted but it was really good. The final sequence was everything, my heart was about to burst. I'd put it pretty close behind Insidious in films that left me a bit terrified after leaving the theater.

The Purge leaked in HD incase of you guys wanted to see it. I downloaded it but I'm going to watch it later this week. I missed the first 10 minutes when I saw it in theaters

The Conjuring is not what everyone is making it out to be. It was pretty good though.
