Synopsis:
Adele's last remaining album track now falls victim to the massacre. Adele sings about a relationship that's ready to "burst at the seams" through a dramatic chorus and thumping piano. Despite the danger, Adele is "willing to take the risk" and continue on with the relationship. After the release of both "Rumour Has It" and "Turning Tables", most fans wanted this as the sixth single from 21, but the era ended and no further singles were released.
Voter Response:
Sigh. With the elimination of "He Won't Go", Adele is left with only her five singles to hold on to. "He Won't Go" was top 20, beating out all of her other non-singles by a semi-large margin, but it continued to fall as the voting process went on. It didn't receive many scores below a five, but it did get many scores around a seven, which explains its average. It's not that it did poorly, it's simply that Amy and Lily were given more love.
