Y'all FF12 fanboys get OUT. Except for the legendary Ashe, that game is

X-2 is getting remastered as well, and as you can see the models have been updated nicely.
Tidus is a lot more smooth looking and has more detail.

So they have been remastering both games as well as translating the extra content.
Now it makes sense.

Y.R.P is gonna look so good. I like how Tidus looks now even though I enjoyed his goofy look on the PS2. I am so glad they are taking the time to release X-2 too. When I first heard of the X HD release, I was for sure they were gonna leave X-2 in the dust. I'm just so happy that's not the case.

I don't know if it's just cause I'm gay, but I really, REALLY enjoyed the campy, girl power vibe of X-2. I know it's generally hated amongst FF fans, but the dress sphere and battle systems were awesome. Plus, the cheesiness of the game was a nice break from the melodramatic, dark atmosphere of most Final Fantasies.

I'm pretty pumped about this HD remake. I haven't played video games in a long ass time and hopefully this will reignite the spark a little.

Also, the Tidus/Yuna laughing scene is iconic and I will NOT have people coming for it.

I'm gonna just sit back and watch them over and over and over cause they are just awesome lol.

People hated on X-2 due to the campy nature and them feeling that X ended on a good note.
But like you said, the battle system was great and remains one of the best in the series and the game overall was good. X-2 International is even better cause it ends characters stories and really concludes the girls journey.

@JayEl Yes, i will be doing the same especially since the models are being updated so the outfits must be worked on too. I was not expecting model updates.

I'm so glad they're doing this. I played X-2 briefly a long time ago and I loved it but at that point I wasn't as much of a gamer/RPG fan as I am now. I've only really played the recent FF installments and even then I don't know too much about the franchise.

I've heard that X is the best/one of the best in the franchise, so am totally getting this. Them including X-2 only convinces me more.

Final Fantasy is probably my favorite video game EVER. Persona 3, RE4 and Bioshock are up there, but I share so many childhood memories with this game, I can't wait to re-live all the epicness this game had.
