Britneys fans shouldn't be allows on twitter, I justsaw that tweet to Jason
It's bad when her OWN ex-fiancé has more class about her moving on then her fans
I will miss Jason though, her only ex to prove to be a class act    |

I think the FF was executed well in terms of release dates for singles. They were released at good times and Britney was played consistently on US radio for a good 9-10 mos. and scored 3 Top 10's US and WW and decent album sales (780K in the US and 1.7M WW is not a flop and I don't understand why people can't grasp that concept, it was still the 25th best selling album of the year out of hundreds that were released). The FFT was far from a flop and was the 11th highest grossing tour of the year and both the album and tour received positive reviews. Let's not forget that the music videos (sans Criminal) all had great views and earned Britney 2 VEVO certificates and also received positive reviews.
In general, the FF era was an era that was just there. I don't think it helped or hurt Britney tremendously.

At least we got TTWE out of the FF era, a decent hit and her most critically acclaimed single in forever.
How close is it to 3x Platinum btw?

 | Let's stop sugarcoating it, for Christ's sake - 780k in the US and 1.7 million worldwide are not decent numbers when you are BRITNEY ****ING SPEARS. I mean, that's what people like Nicki Minaj are selling. Everyone else has outsold Britney as of lately - P!nk with a GH and her new studio album, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna with her 46346388 albums since FF, Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake (IN ONE WEEK )... And the list goes on. I won't even mention the likes of Adele and Taylor Swift for OBVIOUS reasons, but I think I've made my point, right?
Oh, I also won't mention Christina Aguilera.    |

Oh, I also won't mention Christina Aguilera. | Ya'll act like this is a new thing though! Sorry to break it to ya, but people have been outselling Britney since 2001.
2001 - Avril Lavigne.
2003 - Norah Jones.
2007 - Rihanna/Nelly.
2008 - Beyonce, P!nk, Gaga.

I mean, Britney has great album sales and all but she has been outsold by other artists for over a decade now so I honestly don't see why so many fans take the time to point out FF the most.   |

I agree though, there is not justifying these numbers. FF was a flop by Britney's standards and there is no denying that. I want next album to do at least 1.5m in the US and 4m WW.

With her previous albums she was at least around the same numbers as the other big stars at each time, so that's why I think we should all stop calling its performance "decent".
In other words, Britney doesn't have to be "The" top seller all the time - She's reached her peak and I'm perfectly fine with that, I just want her to stay "up there" instead of down.    |

Notice how your list consists of just a few names and if we were to make a list for 2011:

2011 - Adele x2, Gaga, Rihanna x2, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Pink, hell even Gaga's TFM and Amy Winehouse outsold Britney that year.

At least Brit has more staying power than them.    |

Again, tells you how bad FF sales really are.
