This is Jessica's HOH Diary she wrote....

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!! I won HOH!!!! I am so excited!!!!!!!!

So where do I begin??? Oh yes! Hi mom!!!! Hey Dad!!! Dean, Grandma Joyce, Grandpa Leo, Auntie Melisa, Katie (Happy 3rd Birthday in a couple days!!!! Sorry I can't be there!), Tucker, Grandma Betty, Wild Things Dancers, Lampton Lightning Dancers, WU Shocks,family, friends, Josh, Farmer family and BB8 fans!!!!!

So I guess it was a little obvious how excited I was that I won HOH this week!! I have to admit after the week I had before, that might be the greatest moment of my life (so far ) It is no doubt the best moment I have had in the Big Brother House this summer!

So here goes everything!

When I walked into the Big Brother House, I had absolutely no idea what to expect! I am not going to lie, the first few days were a little bit rough for me when I realized that someone from my past would be sharing the summer with me! All and all you can say that Carol and I got it the easiest of the twisties, but who knows what might have happened if she had stayed longer! I am so glad that I told myself to get over it and make the best of the situation because I have enjoyed just about every moment in this house!

My bed mate Joe was sooo much fun! I couldn't have asked for a better one! Every conversation that I had with Joe left me smiling from ear to ear! I wish that Joe could have stayed longer because he was like a constant light making everyone brighter. I especially miss story time, laying out in the sun together, and our nightly pillow chats!

After living in the Big Brother House for 47 days, I truly believe in KARMA and what goes around, comes around. The way this game has gone so far I do not even doubt that ANYTHING is possible and if you are not worried, you should be!

I have become very close with Jameka and Eric. I know that I can never trust anyone 100 % in this game but Jameka and Eric are the closest thing I have to true friends and I trust them 99.9999999%! I hope that doesn't do me in, in the long run!

When Daniele and Dick approached me last week about nominating Eric for the replacement nominee, I lost my mind! I bought into the things they were saying about him and could not understand why he would have done all these so called conspiracies! Last week was hard but I am soooooooo glad that Dustin, Amber, Jameka, and I voted to keep Eric here and evict Kail. I asked myself if I should believe Dick and Daniele over someone who I had become so close with??? Voting Eric out would have been a horrible decision. In no way would that have benefited me! I would have lost my closest ally and friend in the game! I have not regretted that decision yet and I hope I never do! Keeping Eric also united us five on some common ground.

So then I win HOH and us five became even more united! I hope we can stay the five for a while but as the numbers start to dwindle I know the five will split. It is all just a matter of time. This game, however, is a week to week challenge of weighing the pros and cons. The pros for the week is keeping the five strong! Who knows what next week will bring? Hopefully an HOH for Amber or Eric since they haven't won yet!

I am having the best time of my life right now! Every day is sooooo much fun! I am so thankful for the opportunity to be here!!!

Thank you very much to our military! Without you men and women I would not have this chance of a lifetime! It is killing me to not be able to know what is going on with Iraq and Afghanistan, and the rest of the world, so I am praying for the best! I support all the military but I love the devil dogs the most! They are closest to my heart! Dean and Tucker- Congrats on finishing your first tour of Iraq! I wish I could be there to hug you guys!!! You are my heroes and I think about you guys every day! There is no question about that! You are in my thoughts and prayers all the time! You better be ready to party with me when I get home! By the time I get home, we will be on the same partying level! HAHAHAA Take it easy on Dad ok????? Dean, Tucker, Ben, Cory, and Trent-- Semper Fi and one hell of a loud OOH RAH!!!!!! I am feeling another Big Bear Trip for sure!!!!!

Melisa- Happy Belated Birthday!!!! We will celebrate when I get home as well! Don't think you are getting out of a night of going to Old Town! You and Me!

Katie- Happy 3rd Birthday!!!!!

Mom- Your letter was exactly what I expected and wanted!!!! I knew you guys would be saying its about darned time!! You're killing me with this surprise!!! I am thinking about it toooo much! I think I might know though! The pictures were awesome, I love them all! I don't know how many times I have caught myself thinking if I asked mom about this situation what would she say and it always results back to the numerous pros and cons chats we have had. I am trying to keep a level and clear head and I too have soooo much that I want to talk to you about! Thanks for taking care of all my stuff while I am away! Not sure if you heard it or not but I have used the "pick one side of the fence" a lot!!!

Dad- I have coined your phrase BOO YAH!!!! I hope ya don't mind! I remember you saying to me it is a week to week game in here and ya just have to get from one week to the next! That's what I am doing! (It is working so far!) I owe my strategy all to you and mom! The lessons you both have taught me in life have proven so true here! I thank you both for the great home I grew up in and all the wisdom you have installed in me! Hard Work does pay off!

My dancers!!!! I have never been off a dance team for soooo long in my life! I miss practices, games, and most certainly after-parties with you all! I hope I can come back this year but if not you know I will be in the stands cheering you guys on!

Stacia, Holly, Rachel, Michelle C- My party gals! Keep doing it big! Stacia-welcome back to Wichita! Can't wait to hear about your summer in Alaska! Holly! You know we will have a good laugh about me being here!!! Rachel! Michelle C-- Miss ya!

Daniele continues to show everyone why she is a force in the BB8 house. 2 HOH wins, a few veto wins, she is unstoppable. And now that Amber and Jameka are on the verge of being taken down soon, it looks like she will definitely be final 5.

Poker-wise, Annie Duke is still the best IMO. She also holds the record for most people eliminated on 1 v.s. 100 with 95 of the 99 players taken out. She was in the final 5 with Jeopardy! whiz Ken Jennings and 3 other people.

Ponder this......who would win in a heads-up poker match? Annie Duke or Daniele Donato? LOL

BEST VIDEO:Shiny Toy Guns "You Are The One"

I didn't choose So Do I Say Sorry First by Stephanie McIntosh because even though the song is addicting, the video isn't the best in the world. I also didn't choose any Rihanna or Paula Deanda song either. If you were to ask me my choice for Best Video so far, I'd have to go with Shiny Toy Guns "You Are The One". However, it is close between this and I could make an argument for Madina Lake "House Of Cards" as well.

WORST VIDEO:Hurricane Chris "A Bay Bay"
Now, this is a little tough. As much as I hate Sean Kingston, his video is somewhat original. I didn't choose Beautiful Girls. I also didn't choose Lil Mama's Lip Gloss because you don't see that many videos with a school theme these days and she is sorta cute. I also didn't choose Party Like A Rockstar by Shop Boyz because it's different from most hip-hop videos. I'm gonna say Hurricane Chris's A Bay Bay. It's like every other rap video I've seen before.

WORST SONG:Sean Kingston "Beautiful Girls"
No question, I don't even need to go into detail.

BEST SONG:Dolores O'Riordan "Ordinary Day" & Stephanie McIntosh "Tightrope" (TIE)

Sometimes a song has to tell a story and I don't know if So Do I Say Sorry First or The Forbidden Kind fit the bill. No Rihanna, Paula Deanda or Hinder song fits the bill either. I chose Tightrope for the simple fact that it's catchy and really sticks with you. The video is somewhat unique too. This is the title track of her debut album. I also chose Dolores O'Riordan because her song is more mellow and a bit more personal in a way. You can definitely chill out to this slow song.

BEST NEW ARTIST:Juli

I chose to have Juli represent Dieses Leben here. So far this New Artist race is tight. I didn't choose Brandi Carlile or Nicole Willard because I can't really judge them on one song. I didn't go with the obvious choices of Lily Allen or Amy Winehouse. I almost chose Shiny Toy Guns or Madina Lake or even Paramore for this one, but I went off the board and chose the German band Juli. There's something about them that is really unique despite the non-English lyrics. it's opened the door for many more international artists to make my chart including Tokio Hotel, Minami Kuribayashi, Nevada Tan, Christina Sturmer, Traffic Island, Dune, etc.

WORST NEW ARTIST:Lil Mama
I hate to really dis other artists because it kinda irks me, but I decided to do it to Lil Mama. Lip Gloss is kind of an annoying repetitive song IMO. I do give her props for having a sleeper TRL hit, but maybe with the next song, she'll do better.

ARTIST I'M WAITING ON:Ashanti
OK Ashanti, come back with a big bang. Your song Switch disappointed me greatly. If anyone can do it, you can.

MY FANATICISM PICK:Daniele Donato and Jessica Hughbanks
These two are doing great in Big Brother 8 right now. Daniele and Jessica have combined for 3 HOH's, 3 POV's and a reason I'd go blond :D. If Daniele doesn't win BB8, then I'd go with Jessica.

Speaking of BB8:

Jen received a penalty vote which means she already has 1 vote against her to leave, she's not on a penalty nomination as was expected.


PERSON ON THE RISE:Drew Carey
I know, you're like......WTF Mike? Well look, Drew Carey hosts the Power Of 10 and now he's gonna host Price Is Right this fall in place of the retired Bob Barker. We know Drew's nearly 50 but come on, he's got a lot under his belt. His own TV show, Whose Line Is It Anyway? and a host of stand-up gigs. This guy can do it.

PERSON ON THE FALL:Phil Ivey & Damien Fahey (tied)
He came so close to winning his 6th WSOP bracelet but came home empty-handed. I guess Phil's only declining from what I've seen. Hopefully he can turn this around. Damien also is here because of his recent antics on TRL (ala Vanessa Minnillo)
