He and his dad eats pretty healthy for the most part when he is with him and all but that does not mean he does not give him a treat everyonce in a while.The rule mainly applies when he is with he getting dropped off at his moms house.

Besides, she's the one who came out the gate screaming at you, probably in a manner where she acted as if you gave the kid alcohol or drugs. The only time I would ever do that kind of reaction on a kid's birthday is unless he/she is diabetic or with a certain type of medical condition.

But what I do when I'm dealing with my family & friends' little kids/little cousins, is ask if they're allowed to have certain things (Such as candy or pop.) before giving them the goods/sweets. Yet at 8 years old, it's kind of a tough call...
