She's definitely bigger than Maroon 5 to open for them. The label should step in and tell her she should at least co-headline like Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake did back in 2003.

ETA: Mastamaind, Kelly is a bigger radio force but I just looked at that numbers of Maroon 5 tours and they are deffintly a bigger force than Kelly when it comes to touring. But I agree they should co-headline but it appears Kelly said specifically and even repeated that she's opening for a huge group that's a lot bigger than she is.

I think it really depends on her clothing though. A few days ago, when she sang with the Pistol Annies, she looked really slim. I think that awful skirt adds a lot. Compare to this:

I think the articles got it all WRONG! That XTINA is the one that is scheduled to open for MAROON 5! But they got mix up with XTINA Being kelly(Since they both have similar weight) thus kelly was the one rumored to open for M5. What F**kery is this! ~!@$%^&*()_+

That's basically because she was wearing black. She always looks slimmer when she wears black.

Her dress in the "before" pic you posted was black though...

She's def put on some weight since then but I do think the main reason for the difference in how good she looks is from the styling.

But anyway let's focus on People Like Us. So according to the fan who was at the M&G, Kelly isn't allowed to sing PLU until she premiers it on Idol. The show went live this week (right?) so that means we can expect a performance any week now.

The dress is part black but you could see in her upper arms and legs that she was indeed slim back then. But I agree, the right clothes can make a huge difference. I'm positive she will lose weight somewhere this year, I just hope it's in time before the premiere of PLU.
