If we're not getting a single in February, I don't expect anything to drop before April, May or even June...I can't see Demi and Selena releasing their new singles at the same time (March, it's been confirmed by Selena).

i definitely think it will be released in either february or march. she has those three shows in march, i highly doubt she would do them if she didn't have something to promote. and as much as it sucks to wait, the longer she waits to release the album, the more it will be affected by next season of x factor (if she does come back, which i think she will).

There were many things they could have done to avoid this delay but HWR yet again proved incompetent and wasted money on making Demi tour for Unbroken in the US AGAIN, time which would have been better spent recording.

And lets forget about HWR, a lot of successful artists are vocal in how there career is managed and dont leave it to anybody else.

They've done too many things wrong and the best thing they can do is release some news about the single asap because they have successfully managed to kill any momentum that GYHAB and X Factor exposure may have gotten her.

It's annoying to see her career not go anywhere when it easily could, other stars are savvy enough to make it happen for themselves and it's sometimes annoying that Demi isn't.

i do get what you mean but do you think that hwr realized that as well? they have to know that they ****ed up with x factor, but even so, if she had released a single in december it probably would have peaked really high and then died on radio over christmas. even if she had released in january x factor wouldn't have helped it. idk i just feel like they're really gonna try and use season two, especially now that she'll be more established on the show. those concerts at the beginning of march aren't just for the hell of it, she'll have to promote something. it will be amazing for single and album sales if they are able to time a 2nd or 3rd single release with the start of x factor imo

It's not her fault, she wanted the single to be out in December. It didn't happen. Ever since she's been working like crazy in the studio. She's been very dedicated to music lately. She wants to please us fans, but also wants to have success, but she can't manage herself right. That's why she needs a good management team, I feel like hers have done the most random and unwise choices. I just want it to go well this time, I don't know when she's coming back but hear team better have a plan, I don't want them to screw her up.

here's a timeline that i think would work.
lead single: late february/early march
album/2nd single: june
3rd single: october-ish, which happens to be right in the middle of x factor, so it would be perfect for her to perform on the finale/other live show

i also think she'll do what she did last year and tour the US during the summer with dates planned around x factor auditions. as annoying as it that it'll be the US again, that's where she's gonna make the most money.

Try being a Miley stan. Lovatics don't have it that bad. It hasn't been that long and she had xfactor to keep her relevant.

That would be a good timeline, however I don't want to get my hopes up for 3 singles (we all know how HWR are about releasing a certian number of singles). Also, I am actually very curious to know what is going on "behind the scenes" with her management team while Demi is busy recording music. I mean I'm like 90% sure she's recorded 15-20 songs so far and she usually records no more than 30 songs for her albums (based on her previous albums). So that would sorta means she's like halfway done with the recording part of the album. So what is all the waiting for? I know Jan./Feb. is not good months to release singles & I know that they have to plan everything but I'm just too skeptical about all of this! And I know they are trying to promote Selena's music as well. I would hate that they would be delaying Demi's single/album to a later date because of Selena's new single........

She's been working for the 4th album for over a year already!! It's obvious this is gonna be her best effort according to what she has said tho and based on the time she has taken, she must have at least 15 songs recorded if not more! but here's the question, are they waiting to know how is the album going to sound like to finally make the right choice for the single?? I can see that coming... I mean Demi have to be aware of how long the fans have been waiting for an announcement and she as well needs to push her label to do something!!

I bet she's gonna keep teasing us as time goes on and there are going to be leaks too! I'm just saying we have waited the longest why not wait the shortest time??

We should be happy she still has a career. What if she had gave up after rehab? Demi is doing the best she can.

i agree. i think people (including myself) are just frustrated that it's been so long with no new music. she obviously has something planned for the next couple months, in that australian interview the interviewer said that she heard some of the music from the album and to keep listening in the next couple of months which means she recorded some interviews about new music to air when the single or album comes out.

I have to agree with you, some of the lovato stans are kinda impatient , ( no offense ) i mean the smilers, the selenators, the hilary stans and JT stans have waited for a longer time for new music...

We should be glad that at least she's recording music and working with good producers/song-writers

If only they released Unbroken in October/November to get us through this waiting period...
