The Nelly Furtado interview was so messed up... Damien kept talking over Nelly and the fan. He needs a permanent co-host. Now.

Also, did anyone notice how after they showed Sean Kingston's video they showed the Sean Kingston commercial? MTV is Sean Kingston-obsessed.

One last thing about random non-c/d related stuff: I love Hayden Panettiere and all, but she just cannot read a teleprompter. It was obvious she was trying hard to read it during that VMA commercial.

Now onto the c/d: It was terrible. The two videos that have over 30 days are On Deck, while White Stripes and Hilary are close to returning, and I was so happy that they were gone.

Hurricane Chris, Shop Boyz, and Sean Kingston are still on. They shouldn't have even debuted in the first place!

Good moves: Avril returns, Kat DeLuna raises a spot just in time for her performance, and Paula Deanda rises just because. Hurricane Chris and Shop Boyz fall back. BLG hold onto #1.

Bad moves: FOB and Chris Brown drop. MCR off.

I refuse to believe that BLG really got 32% of the votes... it's wonderful, but I doubt that out of every 3 voters, 1 of them is choosing BLG.

Vote for Nelly Furtado.She deserves to be on the countdown.Its been too long since Nelly was last on the countdown.I hope Nelly debuts and reaches 1 a few times and hopefully retires.

Boys Like Girls didn't get 32%. There is just no way.

Today's show was obviously taped.

Because I think they got shafted from debuting At least Paula's on to make up for it....don't know about you, but as long as one of the two is on, I'm fine.

Where did someone get this 32% bull? On my TV it said 12%. I just pray MCR gets back into the top 10. How in the world did videos make it to 65 days in the old days when it seems like every single damn video runs out of steam in their early 30's now?

Well since Wednesdays and Thursdays are taped then it would have to be because MTV wants her on there, but if it makes you feel better, I voted for her like 5 minutes ago.

I don't know, but that's a good question.

There are factors that play into though considering that TRL was at a later time slot then and now it's at 12 where I live. TRL is also taped 2 out of 4 days of the week, which factors into what MTV wants on the countdown followed by the fact that they have some of the weakest viewerships they had ever. It's just basically the fact that most people are over TRL and most have moved on.

That top 3 is horrendous beyond words. Fall Out Boy is slowly but surely falling off and My Chemical Romance's chances of retiring were just snatched from them. Avril Lavigne has little chances of staying and maintaining a position on the countdown. The countdown has hit an all time low.

I just voted for FOB, and maybe I will a little later, but I hope they can get back up to #1 a good many more days and then retire.
