The thing is, Windows phones are selling impressively now but will they stand the test of time? That's the real question, honestly. iPhones -- obviously -- have but most Google-based phones haven't so where will Windows lie?

That's 4.4 Million Lumias. And that is without Nokia's largest market, India where they started selling their flagship phones. Plus the Lumia 620, a lower end smart phone is about to hit India as well which will only make Windows Phone's market share higher. I could only see good things coming for them. They may not be as successful as Android or iOS by the end of the year but I can see them gaining at at least 8 Percent Market Share by the end of the year. Not everything should be fast paced. Even the first iPhone didn't sell much. Let's just hope for the best. It's a great operating system. I really would try it if my country wouldn't be so drowned with Galaxies and iPhones. I'm getting an iPhone next week and I'm considering on selling it to buy a Lumia 920 by March (when it's available in my country). I'm really excited for that.

I dont social media much (outside of Tumblr) so the lack of Facebook and Instagram and Twitter, doesnt bother me at all.

InstaCam is probably the best unofficial client for Windows Phone. The only problem is that you can't make accounts or upload pictures because of Instragram's policy, so you have to do that with the iOS/Android app, but you can still access the network and use the filters. Lomogram is another client with more filters, but you can't connect to the network.
