The cover is indeed sexy and provocative and it might even sell GQ the most copies ever but that doesn't make it less trashy and cliché than it already is.

I don't think it's too much at all. This isn't the first time we've seen Beyonce half naked, and she's always had a somewhat conservative way of going about it. She's always sold sex, but never made it the focal point of her image or went totally overboard with it.
I see the cover as a celebration of femininity and the woman's body.
