Ya'll think sales are always like this. The Greatest Hits was selling 30 - 40K a week in both the UK and the US during it's christmas run when it was charting at like #40 - 50 on the perspective charts. That's where it has pretty much got its worldwide total from so far....it's not really selling that much anywhere else - the UK have astounding sales during Christmas. It's already sold 130K there.
When Janurary comes, albums charting at #40 - #50 sell about 8 - 10K max in the US and even less in the UK. Even if PLU smashes the album may just sneak up to #20 or so and sell 15 - 20K a week.
It would need at least three smash singles to push it to a million copies worldwide. As it is 600 - 750K looks realistic and is not bad considering the promotion. Also remember most core followers own Kelly's CD's and many many others would own Breakaway.
I don't want to mess with the Hive again...
