I haven't heard people as amped about this album so I'm not surprised at all, and Alicia is far past her peak

I'm not surprised, really. Alicia only sells blockbuster numbers when she has crossover hits and appeals to non-urban audiences as well. I'm sure this album will still go Platinum or close to it though.
