i have a question for britney fans. why did toxic only chart to #9 on billboard when it was on the radio every second and got lots of downloads????? and i think if it was released today it would be #1 for like years...

Is because the song was released on 2004 and yeah, she had like damn strong downloads, but this digital downloads didn´t count till 2005 on Billboard, so, even when she still had strong downloads on 2005, it wasnt the same....................

This 2005 digital points plus the heavy airplay give her the number 9 position............

Same thing happened to My Prerogative.

But who cares if it didn't reach the top spot in the US, it was a HUGE international hit. Which is more important than being popular in only one country.
