I don't think Ciara should be tiptoeing around anymore, She already had 3 bad era's in pop, now is not the time for a smooth transition. It worked for Usher in 2010, but now EDM is the standard so that omg type pop won't make waves.

She needs to go straight for the pop stuff. No mor tip topeing. She's lucky she was able to get another record deal. I think this is literally her last chance

I don't know why people don't hear the pop in "Got Me Good". It is dance-pop essentially, and the only reason we call this R&B is because of her skin tone. "Overdose" isn't necessarily the best single choice since it partially leaked; look what happened when the multitude of "Work"s leaked. And, besides that, "Got Me Good" is slowly picking up momentum, and in no way sounds as dated as you all claim.
