“I hated it!,” Garcia told THR earlier this week. “I remember walking into the vocal room and the guys were kinda playing it on the guitar and I was like, ‘I feel bad for whoever is singing that song.’ And they were like, ‘Oh, it’s yours.’ I was like, ‘Oh, well… Damn!’ I was so mad. But you know, we changed it in a way so it could sound like my song.”
[...] THR learned that many of the contestants spent very little time working with their actual mentors. Each song is initially selected by producers, and the contestants’ respective mentors enter the process only one or two days before showtime. At that point, it’s worth noting, many mentors (or producers) will hit their contestants with a change in song just one day, or sometimes only hours, before broadcast. Sometimes the swaps are due to licensing problems, other times, creative differences.

People must know. they're hating on Demi cause she's bad at mentoring her contestants but they should know that there's pretty much barely any mentoring, and the ones that pick the songs are not the judges but the producers. Honestly, this is just disgusting, just to know Demi is getting all that hate for nothing.

Anyway I'm done with the show and won't waste 2hours per week watching that anymore, I only skipped most of the performances anyway.
i'll still watch cause i want demi's team to start doing well, and i love beatrice and carly. i hope demi doesn't do it next year though, i can't deal with all this stress again hahah

I know! That's why on wednesday when Simon and LA said the dancers behing Paige we unnecessary she was like "I did not want any of this"...I just hate it I wish the GP would know about this.
I honestly think the plan for Demi's single is either to :
release it on the 27th and radio add date on 4th of December
or both release dates on 4th of December.
I really doubt they are sending it for adds on the 27th since she'd be against Maroon 5, Taylor, Muse and Owl City. But IDRK if the competition really matters for radio adds so who knows...
