Not you thinking that Katy Perry has created any trends, done anything remotely new or iconic, or has left her mark on any industry
Only thing she's left a mark on is some candy bras, a few rappers, and a 69cent dent in millions of people's pockets.
She didn't started new trends and perfected/popularized existing things.
The only "problem" are the labels and artists looking at the TD era blueprint and trying to add TD references/influences in the songs, vocals and videos. e.g. The overusage of the vowel O by Carly and others and trying to make it sounds like in California Gurls. It's tiring when the other artists on the radios keeps on repeating and stretching the 2 year long TD era.
Luckily alternative/indie is getting big on the radios.
It isn't always bad. Alicia Keys only added a rapper and delivered a well made lyric video. I don't mind her usage of the vowel O, I like it the way she pulls it off and the music is good.
1. she's unlistenable, she doesnt know how to control her voice nor she wants to learn cause she's obviously above professionals.

3. as an artist you want people to identify with you, and she comes off as 'above' anyone on this planet
4. her music doesnt suit her voice, she has a big voice that can be amazing in jazz or slow pop with an urban feel but no, she doesnt want to learn how to sing nor use her vocals in a right way, btw that would make her stand out, cause not everybody has a voice like hers, with max martin songs she just blends in.
5. her appearance is too aggressive. she's not 'sweet' nor 'sexy', she just comes off as obnoxious with amateurish make-up.
I think she has a lot of issues tbh, thats why I dont like to 'drag' her, but sometimes you cant help it. She's 30, she was supposed to feel good in her own skin by now and not putting that much make-up that people cant even recognize you.
From my experience anyone who comes off as full of themselves usually suffers from low self-esteem, cause why would you want to over do it if you're confident with yourself, if you know what I mean? I wish her all the happiness.

I dislike her because she thinks too much of herself, so It's just very funny when things doesn't seem to go as well for her. That time when she was already setting excuses for Your Body/Lotus failure, saying how they were too experimental and that it'd go to people's heads because of that was laughable Some of her stans are annoyingly delusional, which doesn't help at all, to the point that some have even praised her for being so "honest" when she's just completely unpolite and mean. Well you're wrong, you're saying that just because people compared her to GaGa,
but wearing black outfits or black lipstick doesn't make u more GaGa, and NMT video was inspired by Madonna's Express Yourself. which was a mess i hate that video.. but anyway..
Xtina tried all the dark/weird/messy outfits/make-up waaay back then before GaGa even exist.
Give the album a listen if u want, it really has NOTHING to do with GaGa and it's an Electro/Pop album in a different way.
