I personally think a great way of announcing the single would be to do it at one of the liveshows, the host would be like "So Demi, I've heard you had some exciting news to share!" and she would reply "Yes, my brand new single will be out next tuesday". That'd be good

Her National Anthem performances are FLAWLESS!! The 1st one remain unbothered!!
Best thing imo would be announcing the release date two weeks before the release date, then release the song to radio one week before the date and put it up for pre-order.
That'd be "instant" aswell, she would still peak high but she could take advantage of the hype and climb on radio.

I think she should perform on XF 2nd of release week so she can keep her sales/position stable
OR
She could go for the huge debut and big drop 2nd week
