CNN - Who seemed to be a stronger leader?

Romney - 58%
Obama - 37%

I'm willing to bet most of the 35% were already leaning toward of even fully committed to Romney. He may have gained some votes tonight but nothing significant.

I mean, I'm voting Obama, and even i would vote that Romney did better. by far.

And there's another thing: Has Mitt Romney said, even once, how he plans on helping people go to college if he plans on cutting financial aid? Of course not. He wants the education of this country to return to its former glory, yet it would be Romney himself who cuts it off at the knees!

But goodnight, though.

I hate to admit it but it's true. Obama seemed nervous and unsure.

tbh, the issue isn't more or less government funding for financial aid. It's about controlling college costs....going up at more than 5 times the rate of inflation over the past 20-30 years.

And how is cutting financial aid supposed to help with those costs? I have yet to see one person convince me that cutting financial aid would make it easier for people to go to college.

And honestly, to me, the issue IS, more or less, government funding for financial aid. It has everything to do with funding for financial aid, being that I'm a young college student who can only go to college via financial aid.

Romney is winning in every poll CNN has. A clean sweep.

Are you talking about grants or loans? Pell grants are like what, a few thousand dollars a year? Unless you're talking about loans, which have to be repaid anyways. Either way, I'm not a Romney fan, so i don't know what he has said on the matter, but it's highly unlikely that any government could take away financial aid to something as important as education.

The answer isn't government funding in either case because college costs are running rampant and crazy. College has officially become a business, where its presidents are paid millions of dollars a year (more than the actual president of the United States, mind you) and most of your tuition money goes into administration and pretty buildings.

I'm still voting for Obama because Romney is a homophobic, racist, sexist conservative candidate.
