She was out of breathe during sparks fly. And the assumption that the crowd went wild just because it's Taylor.. it was a slow build up tbh. The wildness went to the maxinum during WANEGBT perf.

Oh well. I liked the performance. I just learned to appreciate her spot on vocals because we all know it's her weakness.
I only listened to Love Story and Mean. I couldn't make it last the first 20 seconds of Love Story but my ears are super sensitive tonight. (I restrung my ukulele and it goes out of tune every 5 seconds I swear). If Sparks Fly is worse I should probably just avoid it.
Sad. I probably won't like any of her performances this era. Except what she does at the CMA awards since she'll probably tone down the pop stuff to fit in there. Hopefully she gets this out of her system and LP5 can be all real instruments/lots of acoustics.
Yes, this is probably the best we've ever seen her live performing multiple songs at once. Let us forget about that ill-fated performance in 2010 that I am sure all haters won't be.

i guess i had lead my expectations to go toooo..oooo high, and couldnt match the performance!
lol that was just a bad situation all around. I've seen her live...11 times I guess and all before the Speak Now era. She's always sounds amazing in intimate settings, especially when she's playing her guitar. The only questionable performances where any performances of Teardrops and sadly Tied Together With a Smile. If you ever get the chance to be in a small setting with just Taylor and her guitar it's pretty amazing. (Especially circa 2007/2008)
Now get her into an arena and have her dance around and sing over syths and stuff and let her do weird stuff with her arms...different story. .
She did well. Looked hot as **** and her singing was mostly on point but she really needs to ditch those awestruck poses. Its beyond ridiculous by now.

Not yet. I'm on mobile ryt now. I try my best to avoid that grammy perf tbh.
Well I'm saying I probably won't like it not that it won't be good or worthwhile. No meltdown, just keeping my expectations tempered. I just know that the performances she does now/award show performances/music videos are usually a good indication of what her tour is like and so far it's not my style. Hopefully we'll get a better indication of what to expect soon. (I will admit that the NFL performance she did in 2010 was in no way indicative of what her tour was like, but her AMA performance of BTD and her CMA performance of Love Story were)
