very true! but because of the AGT finale tonight, i don't think we'll see a huge increase until next week i'm just so happy with how the show turned out though... better than i ever dreamed
Clearly these talent shows are watched by the same pool of people. I myself was recording 2 other competition shows while watching The X Factor. I think we'll see a reasonable increase next week when The Voice returns to its normal timeslot and America's Got Talent ends. I still believe that this season of X Factor will do better than The Voice.
The season premiere ratings are awful. There's no way around it.
The ratings will probably be even lower today because of the competition, the show was actually really good so it's disappointing. Hopefully it does better next week.

What's the competition? America's Got Talent? Ratings are bad... I don't think anyone saw this coming. Ratings are really going to have to increase by a big margain. I was thinking that ratings would have today.
Has Simon said anything yet? This same thing happened in the UK with The Voice going against his show, Britain's Got Talent. His ego must be in pieces.

It probably could. Seems like the show got pretty close to 10 Million from 9:30-10 pm so there's a big chance it could. Ratings kept increasing as the show continued.
