Madonnas....R.I.P, to the fave you used to see....
85. Madonna- American Pie (6.145)
Highest score: 10 x2 (lovesong, VJoker)
Lowest score: 1 x2 (airbornE, Kool_Aid_King)
An unflattering picture of Madonna:
Well! Here, Madonna and Mr. Orbit cover the classic by Don McLean in emphatic fashion; as part of a soundtrack for Medoner's film The Next Best Thing. It smashed throughout Europe, even granting Medoner her first #1 in Germany since 1987's La Isla Bonita. However, without official release in the US, it scraped in at a very respectable #29 through airplay alone. Who Run The World.....?
Jinzo's verdict: 3.5
Amongst Medoner's most blah hits. It's neither here nor there when considering the wider context of her discography.

Yeah, it was gonna happen sooner or later. I don't really have an attachment to this song...
If another one of her songs go out I'll be furious though.

Eh, no loss there.
I'm really enjoying reliving Mel C.'s early 2000s haircut. The fashion mistake that launched a thousand lesbian rumors...

I like that song. I still hate her as a person.
I wont listen to her music because of her personality and wont care if she finally stops making more music but I also wont rate her older good songs worse because I hate her.

84. Ke$ha- We R Who We R (6.257)
Highest score: 10 x7 (Stevie, Strangergab, Kool_Aid_King, berberocka, Pink Panther, Keshaspearsxo, Ace Reject)
Lowest score: 0 x4 (Green, JDella11, Glassheart, airbornE)
An unflattering picture of Ke$ha:
Produced by Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco et al as the lead single from Cannibal, We R is the first time Ke$ha (w/ dollar sign) hits the top of the UK charts- TiK ToK ain't doing it! Ms. Sebert wrote the song in the wake of multiple suicides in the LGBTQ community, in the hopes of it becoming a pride anthem. Y'know, before another Lady. *files nails*
Jinzo's verdict: 8.5
In my eyes, far better than TiK ToK! And also far better and far more credible than many other 'be urself xxx" type hits we've sustained in recent years.

Easily one of my least favorite things Ke$ha has ever done. It sounds like "Tik Tok" and "Take It Off" mixed in a blender with an empty self-empowerment—but it's much less than the sum of its parts.

83. Madonna ft. Timbaland and Justin Timberlake- 4 Minutes (6.303)
Highest score: 10 x7 (madonnas, Strangergab, conseeded, berberocka, boyamama, VJoker, Flashing Lights)
Lowest score: 0 x2 (Glassheart, superben)
An unflattering picture of Madonna:
Little Medonsters! Where are you and how are you letting this happen to your fave? The lead single from Medoner's 11th studio attempt Hard Candy, this would appear to be Medoner's last #1 in the UK until....well, you tell me I suppose? Though all t.its and arse on the face of it, 4 Minutes carries with it a deep social commentary based on our need to save the world from an imminent crisis based on Medoner's personal and often baby-taking visits to Africa.
Jinzo's score: 3
Like American Pie really- a lame blip in the wider context of Madonna's pretty epic discography. She can and has done far better.

"4 Minutes" is a great song. I'm shocked it's out this early.

82. Pixie Lott- Mama Do (Uh, Oh, Uh, Errrr) (6.316)
Highest score: 10 x6 (lovesong, conseeded, superben, Sporefan, Dream, that Pixie Lott stan)
Lowest score: 0 x4 (Cassiopeia, Glassheart, Regina George, VJoker)
The unflattering acne picture of Pixie that I haven't used yet:
The first introduction we have to every kid's mum's pretend-to-be-cool-for-the-kids fave, this soul-pop number was quite the anomaly in a year more renowned for the initial waves before the tsunami of dance-pop. It is, apparently, the first ever time a UK female has reached #1 without previously being in a group or through the use of reality TV. I don't know, I just copy and paste from Wikipedia.
Jinzo's verdict: 5
Probably the best of her not actually very good at all #1s. It does offer something a little different to the usual 2010's sort of pop, I guess.

Pixie was expected but I thought 4 MInutes would go a lot farther in the rate.
I'm also surprised that Evanescence is still in this. Nice to know there were some fellow angsty middle schoolers getting their life to them back in 03.
