I wonder how they track the digital album sales...

i mean if one person buys the first half of the album and another person buys the second half (as in each song) then it doesn't count as one sale together right?

I was just thinking, because Unbroken had huge online hype and many people bought the songs and they went really high on itunes.... that she might have lost some "sales" because some people didn't like all tracks and only bought a few.

My iTunes now has an option to buy any album with a reduced price for every song you already bought seperately, so I'm gonna guess this counts as an album sale.
