and the BETTER news.......
Unbroken re-enters the top 100 at #88!!!!!!!!!!!
and she might stay there next week since the album has been high on itunes early this week i think?
And I can't wait for the December single, its perfect timing, she will have had the majority of XF for a new audience to identity with her and that coupled with Xmas sales would guarantee decent sales.

I just hope the plan works out, especially with radio adds
IDK, sending it in December would probably be kinda risky, and January is kind of already late D:

Is she releasing it in December or Premiering it in December... or both

If she performs and releases her song around the finale add dates around mid January could work
The X factor ends late December
Katie Couric has lined up some big-name guests for her new talk show, simply billed "Katie," kicking off next month.
The former CBS anchor has also nabbed Jennifer Lopez, Demi Lovato, Barbra Streisand, Heidi Klum, Susan Sarandon, Chelsea Handler, "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara, fellow talk show host Wendy Williams and "50 Shades of Grey" author E L James to all make appearances during the show's premiere season.
Before she sits down with Couric, Lovato will perform during the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards pre-show. She will dazzle the crowd with her Unbroken track "Give Your Heart a Break." It all goes down on September 6 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET/PT. She'll get everyone amped before the main show kicks off live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

but then it would already peak on sales before it can even start on radio.
If she performs it and releases it in the same week it will hopefuly go top 10 on iTunes but we all know she can't keep this up, especially around x-mas time.
Did you forget that Skyscraper was out of the top 50 already after two weeks...

If she has promo lined up it'll stay stable on itunes until it gets sent to radios. What would you suggest for a radio add date?

It's a hard decision but if i were her,i would release the single to radios in the end of November, mabye November 27th, and then perform it on X Factor mid-december.
But i think it might be a bit risky so eventually on January 15th.
And then again you have positives and negatives for any time.
If her next single pulls a GYHAB on radio I'll scream, I'm not here for meltdowns like the ones in early 2012.......
NSADNOSID
i don't think her next single will climb this slowly. Hopefully it can get +20-+50 spin updates from the beginning...
it obviously won't like SMASH but still, with enough hype she can climb way faster, i mean GYHAB had NO hype when it was sent for adds... and also, her going #1 on pop with GYHAB should definitely help

I hope radios react to it faster than they did with GYHAB, I mean I like the logetivity that GYHAB's slow burning has provided but for selfish reasons I want the songs to chart higher and faster so we can get more singles from the albums.
Seriously I have to give it to HWR, they have changed my opinion of them considerably with the way they handled GYHAB, and looking at some of the other artists on HWR they generally seem to be improving as a record label,
