Lady Antebellum is quite popular here as well... Some country is doing good worldwide too.
But yeah, I do see what you mean, but in the end for me it's not all about Demi becoming huge worldwide. I'd love it if that would happen, but honestly, I am content with her being respected as a singer by those who know her
it doesn't sound typical country at all.
