6/15 Preview:Maroon 5 is hard to understand, but harder to defeat.
Maroon 5 has been on fire lately. They debuted at #12 just 2 days ago. The All-American Rejects are also on the hunt for #1.
So it will be Maroon 5 v.s. AAR v.s. Ashanti v.s. Sean Paul for #1. Ashanti has been red-hot since the video for Rock Wit U first got played. There's no stopping her!
Sean Paul is within striking distance of #1. Stay tuned to find out who wins.

19. Lyric "Young And Sexy" (2, 19)+1
Me:That was Lyric marching forth 1 spot to #19 with Young And Sexy. Our first sneak peek is from Anastacia. She'll be here later to premiere this in full. I know Ed is a big fan of hers, and I want to make him happy. Ok, enough talk. Here's the peek of Love Is A Crime.
*plays 15 second snippet*
Me:If you couldn't get the peek, don't worry because we premiere it later on today's show. We're gonna take a little break. When we return, how far down will the Goos go? How far up will Monica rise? Stay tuned.

*plays 8 second snippet*
Me:Up now is Evanescence taking a small jump in airplay. We'll get to them in a second. First, let's welcome the woman of the day. It's Ashanti, so play her biggest hit!

Plus, where will Frankie J land? How far will Michelle Branch go? We're gonna be back in a few minutes, don't leave us now. While we're away, let's roll down my video for "Foolish"
*Break for 4 minutes*

10. Michelle Branch "Are You Happy Now" (22, 3)+3
9. Dream Featuring Loon "Krazy" (8, 3@1)+1
Ashanti:That was Dream up 1 to #9. This is Anastacia, so let's talk about what's going with you.
Anastacia:Not much has happened to me since I was last on DRL. It's anybody's guess how far I will go at this point.
Ashanti:Maybe a video retired on DRL? We premiere your new song today. Earlier, we gave the folks at home a sneak peek. What did you have to do to get ready?
Anastacia:Not much.
Ashanti:Well, you introduce it.

Ashanti:Uh-oh. My song "Rock Wit U" drops 1 to #3. That's ok. We're taking another break. When we return, we roll out your #2 request, and some songs to watch for in the future. Sit tight.
*Break*
Ashanti:Welcome back to DRL. Where did he go? Anyway, at #2 today is The All-American Rejects. Their last song Swing, Swing went to #4 after 22 days on. This song called Last Song moves another spot to #2.

This is another close race for #1. Right now, Monica has a very slight advantage, but Ashanti is right behind her. Beyonce and Mya bring up the rear, but it's still anybody's guess who will be crowned your new #1 for today thanks to "Baby" retiring yesterday.
90% Check For 6/17:
1. Monica - 11,555
2. Ashanti - 11,553
3. Mya - 11,487
4. Beyonce - 11,455
5. Frankie J - 6,000
