I think at Kylie's position that's her only answer. Imagine the meltdowns of she said its GaGa. That's just a possibility thou. Or she really thinks its Madonna who is more talented.
I disagree with Kylie. Gaga clearly has more raw talent. Gaga can sing practically almost any genre (pop is her niche but her smoky vocals would fit nice with blues/jazz in a way that Madonna's air-thin vocals just cant)
Gaga has a very Broadway type voice. She can play the piano remarkably well while Madonna is just okay with guitar. The only thing Madonna is better at is dance.
In terms of talent, Gaga definitely has the upper hand esp. since music was something she studied/loved as a child. Madonna didnt even get into music until her early 20s. She came to NY to study dance originally then somehow found her way into music

A GaGa fan asked me why would I make a thread about this since I'm a GaGa fan but we just stick to the truth

Madonna wrote most of her songs. So does Gaga. Madonna didn't necessarily have great songwriting skills at the beginning of her career, when I think her songwriting skills truly developed were with Like a Prayer. Therefore, I find Gaga's songwriting skills more developed than Madonna's when she was 26. (It's unfair to compare Madonna's songwriting skills when she was 39 during the ROL era to a 26 year old Gaga with less experience in the music industry and less songwriting experience as well).
