Money is not from the records. Artists don't even make 5%. The money is from endorsements, touring, and business ventures. And Western pop stars are king at that, they can roll in the dough from a good tour in the states. A night at Yankee Stadium or Madison Square Garden could have you in $2 mill or more from ONE NIGHT. That's why many artists from outside the US try to break in the US. Its a lot of money to be made. Plus albums are cheaper in America because America is the worlds biggest music market. Albums used to be upwards of $20 when they used to sell like crazy in 2000.
SMTown artists (SHINee, TVXQ, SNSD, f(x), Super Junior, BoA) do actually sell out concerts in America, though.
And one last comment before I go to bed, stop denying credit to One Direction and The Wanted. They both are really talented. Sure they don't dance but they're talented in other ways.
Give credit where it's deserved, don't deny credit just because you don't like them.
Goodnight and I hope y'all had a great Father's Day and have a great Monday.

Now all they need to do is release more music here and promote. I remember BoA tried that with "Eat You Up", and I thought it was an amazing song. I herd it on the radio all the time. They can sell out concerts and music.
