A UK radio station is under fire for "unauthorised activity and inappropriate behaviour in the studio.”
Jazz FM’s Funky Sensation programme aired more than its mix of Rick James, Funkadelic and Keni Burke last Saturday night in London; the show’s head of programming Mike Vitti accidentally broadcast what The Guardian is reporting as the soundtrack to a gay **** film.
The pre-recorded show along with the moans and groans of adult entertainment throughout both the music and advertisements can be heard here.
Jazz FM broadcasts to an average of just over half a million listeners per week.
In a statement the station released on Monday in the UK, Jazz FM management said: “disciplinary action will be taken against the individual concerned."
Vitti also issued the following apology to the station’s listeners.
Unfortunately we had an unauthorised access to the live feed on Jazz FM on Saturday 18th February at 7:15pm which resulted in a highly regrettable incident.
Please accept our profound and sincere apologies for any offence that may have been caused and rest assured we have taken steps to ensure that there will be no repeat of this incident.
